Robert C. Case

Bob Case has been performing inspections in the Denver/Boulder area since 1996.  After leaving Stanford University in 1971, he became involved in residential and commercial construction for the next twenty-five years.  He was employed by the Sutherland Lumber Company for four years and was involved in the construction of six lumberyard and retail store installations.

After leaving Sutherland’s, he got involved in residential construction.  The bulk of this experience was in framing and trim work, although as a back-up carpenter, he also became quite familiar with the installations performed by the electrical and mechanical trades people.  This experience has proved invaluable to his career as an inspector.

After substantial training and certification by the Inspectech Corporation, he began performing inspections on his own.  Case Inspection Services, Inc. was founded in March 1997 and has grown steadily since its inception.  Bob has completed over 3000 inspections.

Bob is a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and is constantly involved in continuing education in the related disciplines.  Bob is currently on the Executive Board of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of ASHI.  He is also licensed to perform rental-license inspections for the City of Boulder.

In addition to his work as a home inspector, Bob is an accomplished pedal-steel guitar player.  He has played professionally for over thirty years in the Denver metro area.  A few of the musicians with whom he’s played are Junior Brown, Dusty Drapes & the Dusters, Doug Kershaw, Lynn Morris and Billy Spears.
